  2. Transparency and Accountability: We prioritize transparency and accountability throughout the publication process. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to disclose any potential conflicts of interest and to uphold the highest ethical standards in their contributions.

  3. Editorial Independence: Our editorial decisions are made independently, guided by our established policies and ethical principles. This ensures fairness, impartiality, and integrity in our editorial processes.

Ethical Guidelines for Authors
Authors submitting to the Journal of International and Prospective Studies must ensure the ethical soundness of their research and abide by the following guidelines:

  • Authorship and Contributorship: All authors must have significantly contributed to the research and approved the final manuscript. Any changes to authorship (addition or removal) after submission must be approved by all authors and the editor.
  • Conflict of Interest: Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the manuscript’s evaluation. Conflicts of interest include financial, personal, or professional relationships that could affect objectivity.
  • Originality and Plagiarism: Manuscripts must be original and not published or under review elsewhere. The journal uses iThenticate to check for plagiarism. Manuscripts failing the similarity check will be rejected.
  • Data Access and Retention: Authors should be prepared to provide raw data related to their manuscript for editorial review and comply with the journal’s data sharing policy.
  • Ethical Research Practices: Research involving human participants must adhere to ethical standards, including informed consent and approval by an appropriate ethics committee. Authors must include statements about ethical considerations and funding in their manuscripts.
  • Simultaneous Submission: Authors must not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to more than one journal, to ensure the uniqueness and originality of each submission.
  • Publication Ethics: The journal takes allegations of misconduct seriously and will investigate any suspected ethical violations. Corrections or retractions will be issued when errors or misconduct are confirmed. Reviewers’ identities are typically kept anonymous unless otherwise agreed.
  • Corrections and Retractions: The corresponding author agrees to promptly notify the editor of any significant errors in the manuscript after publication. The corresponding author agrees to cooperate with the editor in issuing corrections or retractions if necessary.
